AGM registration: A message from Adam Ginder

I am pleased to announce that, following feedback from our members, we have moved the date of our Annual General Meeting to Wednesday 23 September at 6pm.

Given the current COVID-19 restrictions, and in line with the HM Government guidance, the meeting will take place virtually via a Microsoft Teams live event. I hope that this format and timing will enable more members to attend this year’s AGM in amongst our busy schedules.

In order to join the meeting, you must log in then register to attend at www.saifcharter.co.uk/agm2020 no later than noon on Monday 21 September.

Please note, you must be registered as a member and logged in to the website before using the above link to register.  Details of how to join the meeting will be circulated by email to all registered attendees no later than 2pm on Wednesday 23 September.  These details should not be shared with anyone else as only members should attend the AGM.

The meeting agenda, and related presentations will be available in the secure members’ area of saifcharter.co.uk in advance of the meeting. The meeting will include our regular reporting, pre-submitted questions, and the election of Executive members.

Any eligible member seeking to put themselves forward for election should contact our Secretary at secretary@saifcharter.co.uk to provide their written nomination.  The deadline for intimating an interest is Friday 7 August, just over six weeks in advance of the AGM, which allows time to publicise candidates’ details in advance of the vote.

Candidates’ biographies and the ability to vote will be made available online, so you can have your say on the candidates standing and influence the future direction of our Association.

Your sincerely,

Adam Ginder
SAIFCharter Chairman
