We’re pleased that the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has confirmed its final rules for regulation of the funeral planning market. These are designed to protect customers and compliment the high standards of care and service at the heart of what we already do as trusted local independent funeral directors.
Our Regulatory committee is working alongside Golden Charter to ensure we’re fully supported as we prepare for FCA regulation, and have input to the updated regulation ready guide now available.
If you’ve not had a chance to look at the guide yet, we’d encourage you to do so. Summarising the key areas of the final rulebook and explaining how Golden Charter will support us through each area, the guide can be found at the dedicated FCA information hub at the upgraded mygoldencharter.co.uk site. We don’t need to do anything at this stage but it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with the next steps of our regulatory journey.
As trusted independent funeral directors we can embrace these changes and our Golden Charter business managers are on hand to help with any questions we may have, and to support us through the regulatory journey. There is also a dedicated mailbox for any regulation queries – email@example.com. Or you can always contact our association at Secretary@SAIFCharter.co.uk
