Following the Funeral Planning Authority’s (FPA) revised set of Rules and Code of Practice coming into effect at the beginning of the year, our Association strongly recommends that all of our members only accept funeral plans from providers registered with the FPA.
This will further prepare your business for the upcoming regulation of the funeral planning sector and help you to make sure you are doing the right thing for families in your communities.
The FPA has been driving up industry standards since its inception in 2002. Due to the extensive checks carried out, you can be reassured that families in your local community will be treated fairly and receive the funeral they have paid for when they purchase a plan from an FPA registered provider.
